Who we are

Japan Camp is entirely owned and operated by Football Sydney Group PTY LTD. Having been active in Japan since 2013, Japan Camp officially launched in 2023.

Our partners, who assist in organizing camps and providing strategic advice, bring over 35 years of experience working within Japanese football at all levels, from grassroots to federation and national teams.

Additionally, Japan Camp collaborates with Japan Package, a specialized travel agency led by managing director Daisuke Mizukoshi, who has been our partner since 2013. Daisuke is a certified and official travel agent with extensive expertise in Japan travel packages and established relationships with airlines and hotels.

Together, our partners possess over 70 years of combined experience in Japan and are deeply committed to strengthening the connection between Japan and Australia.

Japan Camp operates with the highest level of professionalism and compliance. We have all policies and safeguards in place, including public liability insurance, professional indemnity insurance, childcare policies, and comprehensive safety standards.

Our focus is exclusively on Japan, we do not operate in any other country. This boutique and specialized approach ensures that every football travel experience we deliver is deeply authentic, safe, and of the highest quality.

    Ehsan Popal

    FOUNDER

    Ehsan is one of the most passionate advocates for Japanese culture, with a deep personal and professional connection to Japan. A former semi-professional footballer in Australia, he has been working in Japan since 2013 and has made more than 50 trips there, immersing himself in the country’s history, traditions, and people.

    Over the past decade, Ehsan has built a large network in Japan, an achievement founded on consistent hard work, cultural respect, and trust. Through countless personal connections, he has established a reputation as a bridge between Australia and Japan.

    A strategic thinker, Ehsan is always seeking ways for both countries to benefit from closer sporting, cultural, and business ties. When not on the pitch or developing opportunities, he can be found reading and exploring Japanese history, continually deepening his understanding of the culture he loves.

    Daisuke Mizukoshi

    DESIGN DIRECTOR

    Daisuke was born in Japan and is now a proud Australian citizen. He and Ehsan have shared a close professional and personal connection for over a decade, with Ehsan having coached his boys in football during that time.

    Passionate about both Australian and Japanese culture, Daisuke has combined his love of travel with his professional expertise. Having made countless trips back to Japan, he brings a unique perspective and deep cultural understanding that enriches his work.

    As the operational lead and travel agency partner, Daisuke ensures every logistical detail is meticulously managed. His experience, reliability, and cultural insight make him an invaluable bridge between Australia and Japan, ensuring smooth and meaningful experiences for all involved.
